No updates for ages, outages... is Aminet dead or dying?
You'd think if it were to be euthanised, the maintainers would at least bother to tell us!..
Perhaps they could release a "Goodbye to Aminet" DVD with the contents of Aminet on it? Would one DVD do? :)

| Posted by StAn on 11-Oct-2004 20:19 GMT | | amirepo.net looks interesting. Aminet was (and still is somewhat) great because you knew everything was there. No need to search the whole web to find a program. But now programs are scattered everywhere. |
