Apparently MorphOS for x86 exists! See here:
X86/MorphOS 1 0 MOO!

Unless of course someone was tinkering with an x86 client to get it to contribute to MorphOS/PPC stats and forgot to change the architecture flag...

Morphos for x86 at last? : Comment 33 of 49 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 13-Oct-2004 12:28 GMT | In reply to Comment 32 (takemehomegrandma): Consider the alternative: The MorphOS team porting MorphOS to x86.
This doesn't sound very likely don't you think?
OK mrs. Blachford gave an interview on OSnews once where he answered the question: "Is a port of MorphOS to x86 planned?"
with:
" Not at the moment. I would be interested to see some version available under x86 though even if it was just under emulation, that would allow x86 users to see what MorphOS was capable of."
But why port an OS in a state where it surely won't attract users from the x86 platform?
Nah, i'll bed it's some x86 blue biased kiddy wanting to contribute to the Pegasos team but not as a windoze PeeCee. |
