I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but wasn't this due out over a year ago? Aren't they holding the preorder $$ from ~500 people? Wasn't it ~$150 for the "Vodoo I 3D option", but it would only take a handfull of months (60 days IIRC) to be released?
umm.. Isn't this for the same GFX card poor souls already paid ~$400 for? Were talking about the Cirrus Logic based card here right?
And now they say they need someone to do preliminary board layout? This thing aint even been prototyped yet? Can you say FRAUD? Hmmm.. Maybe not fraud... But at least INCOMPETENCE.
Maybe I'm missing something, if so tell me. Thank God I'm not one of the unfortunate people who lost their money.
Regards,
Jim

In reply to Comment 1 (Jim Farley):
To be completely honest with you, I could care less that it has taken them this long. Hell, I've waited this long for a new Amiga haven't I? What's a couple of years for a true 3D card? Just me I guess.
To be quite honest, this is some really good news as all of those that I know that did preorder are still eager to get their 3D boards.
And to make myself sound really pathetic - I didn't purchase Wipeout 2097 to use as a coaster ya know.
