Ralph Schmidt wrote in comp.sys.amiga.misc: The last Phase5's Amiga products are and will be continued by DCE. He also points out that he's not employed by Phase5, does not own any part of Phase5 and therefore is not responsible for any of this.

I'm not sure about DCE. I've had the MkIII on order for the past six months
with no delivery yet. Where is it?

I've had the 060 board on order for about three months. Finally gave up and ordered
a GVP board.
For a company to survive it has to actually produce something, not just say it will.
I look for an "announcement" from these guys next.

And I've had a BVision on order since July (when phase5 still had the rights). When DCE bought the, I was told I should be getting my BVision at the end of January, but still not here! According to WhiteKnight, DCE are as bad with delivery dates as phase5 are/were.

Same situation here .... CybervisionPPC on order for over 5 months now :(
Sometimes i simply don't understand it .... Phase5 and now DCE could
make some money. Lot's of people waiting for BVision/CybervisionPPC.
WHERE are these cards??

I think that, right now, the AmiJOE is the most hopeful card for boosting the power of our Amigas. I sincerely hope these cards come through!!

Many Amiga users are looking for a PPC+BVision, I hope DCE will take this opportunity now and deliver these cards as soon as possible.
AmiJoe without a 3D gfx card is not useful IMHO..

To all those who ordered things months ago:
Have you tried calling and/or repeatedly emailing DCE until you get firm answers on production dates? Rather than feeling bad for yourselves, get it together and give THEM the hard time. Mike

Yes : an Amijoecard without a PCI gfx board is useless.
I hope Metabox have understood this. If it's not the case...

I thought they said that a graphics card was planned, along with a few other things, one being some "secret device" that would allow the use of modern "off-the-shelf" products....Or was I dreaming????

Yep, but no response. Reminds me of a certain company... ;)

I've heard that they are not going to produce any BlizzardVision-cards because they are "to hard" to make.

Argh :( Many friends of me has an A1200 with a PPC.. how can they use a gfx card on their Amigas?
Pixel 64 are slow, and all the others works with Zorro slots :/

And that, IMHO is why phase5 have gone bust. Great products (lets face it they are the
only ones so far who have delivered anything) but if you can`t actually get one
for love nor money then how the hell do they expect to get any cash in and survive????
I really do not understand the mentality.
I just hope to god the same does not happen to the boxer.

Never did business with them, but they sound like they suck, this is a BAD thing!!!!!

One of the flaws I think they did, was making their products too filled with features the users probably didn't need plus not jumping to 68K emulation immediately, perfecting it over the years.
I think PPC sales would have gone a lot higher, if they had settled for a PPC only card, which could have been much cheaper and simpler to make, and bundle some 68K emulation with it.
OK, PPC603e's couldn't give 68060 performance, but I think it could have been survivable. Mac-people survived, didn't they?

DCE CEO Thomas Dellert has posted in a german discussion board. According to that posting,
the 68k Blizzard boards, The Blizzard-IV SCSI kit and the CV64/3D should be already available.
The Cyberstorm Mk-III/PPC shall be delivered from calendar week 8 (i.e. 25 Feb for worst case).
The BlizzardPPC will take about 7 weeks, the BVision and CVPPC about 2 weeks. Blizzard 2040 and 2060
will be available on 14 Feb.
Distribution will be done by Vesalia Computer (http://www.vesalia.de/) - unfortunately Mr. Dellert
did not mention the existing (pre-)orders.
All those informations are taken from http://www.amiga-club.de/forum/ac-forum/messages/13884.html

In reply to Comment 17 (Henrik Mikael Kristensen):
I don't think people who already owned an 060 board would have been
satisfied to downgrade to perhaps 030/50 performance. I know I
wouldn't. And I think most people who bought PPC boards had 040 or 060
boards before then. So I think p5 did the right thing for the time,
unfortunately it may have been an impossible situation. :/
