Adam Szymczak writes: Douglas McLaughlin, the author of STRICQ, posted a brief message to the STRICQ mailing list in regards to the future development of STRICQ. He notes that he will not stop developing STRICQ. Stay tuned. This message was posted by Douglas McLaughlin, the author of STRICQ, on the STRICQ Mailing List on February 12, 2000:
Hi,

I have made an important decision concerning STRICQ's future development. That decision will be announced on my webpage next weekend.

Don't be too concerned. I am NOT announcing that I will stop developing STRICQ. In fact, I think most people will see this announcement as good news. Also, this has nothing to do with Mirabilis or AOL.

I've put some thought into this and decided that, with my upcoming move and change in employment, this is a good time to make yet another change.

Anyway, with your curiosity piqued, all I will say is to watch my webpage next weekend. (And I've, hopefully, already squashed the two biggest and worst rumurs in the above paragragh.)

Check the STRICQ website next weekend for the full announcement.

Well he definatly is a believer in the future of Amiga, that is what I wanted to see. If Amiga catches on, STRICQ will be the I Seek You of PeeSeas, I can see why he is optomistic! :)
