fleecy writes: Just to let you all know. I am in Seattle at the moment for a third round of training with our new development team. 4 weeks ago, 4 of the Amiga team were trained. Last week 3 more were trained, along with 2 guys from an Amiga company that is a strategic partner. This week, 5 more of the development team is being trained. In 3 weeks time, the final training will occur with our last member, and 3 or 4 ppl from at least 2 Amiga companies that are also strategic partners. The entire team will be introduced once the training is finished, and the strategic partners will be announced. Things are happening.

If the report, and letter are true...this is indeed great news.
We will be starting slow, but we will be there and dedicated to
building a new system.
Could you imagine a powerful computer that can take in any data,
massage it(in a logical, efficient, elegant, way),and spit it out
any way you want, and to whomever? This was the original Amiga idea
and I hope the promise of the new Amiga/Tao team.

Paying respects to Kurt Cobain, calling up Fraiser, giving Bill Gates the needle.
While i've got Fleecy's attention (Hi Fleecy!): are you giving Aquafresh weekly interviews, and what's the URL?

Defintatly good news, and I am glad he lets us know, that was very kool of him! Following Transmeta's path and letting out as little information as possible, but keeping everyone clued in at the same time, is a perfect plan.
I am eager to see who is on the team! :)
Thankx!

Another idea: The revival of the Amiga seems like such a phunny and pathetic idea to the mainstream right now, that I doubt Amiga Tech will have as much trouble with secrecy and what not as IBM, Transmeta, and other large revolutionary companies may have. Thus if we are going to make any achievements in Technology, now is the time, I don't think anyone is paying any serious attention to us, thus we could sneek up out of no where...
...in a few years time.

I agreed 100% I don't think anyone is paying close attention at all so when Amiga strikes it will be a blow, to the powers to be will be, that will catch them completely off gaurd as back as 1985!!! When no one even thought about the word multimedia there was Amiga. Now that the system is in the hands of People that really care about it will actually grow. This is our hour this is our chance and I know Amiga will again set the standards that the PC backlog world is waiting for. FREEDOM!!!!!
