Posted by Gerald Gibbons on 11-Mar-2000 23:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 5 (Mark Olsen): I've been thinking of dropping IBrowse1.22 because:
1. I've heard IBrowse2 is buggy and I am afraid to install my upgrade.
2. Presently, I've got a problem with my A1200/B1260's IDE 260meg HD which involves some many issues that I am seriously considering moving to a browser program which does NOT MUI3.8.
I tried to delete IBrowse and I've invalidated my HD! I've tried to save my YAM foles - drawers but I am having difficulties!
And need some help before I really lose some important stuff! !
3. I have not even installed my 3.5 OS because of simular fears.
4. I am running low on patience and time and just want to keep it simple (stupid).
Finally, I may box it up and send it to someone and have them install my software & hardware upgrades (add a Tower & graphics card)
- but who do I trust to do it right? I need to be able to run my "Final Writer97", "Art Dept 2.5 v", and "Migraph 2400 flatbed scanner software" with "Cross Dos GOLD"
and my two ext. Zip Drives. |
