New MUI based FTP client! Compatible with some of the older servers which newer clients seem to have problems with.

Posted by The Great One on 31-Mar-2000 22:00 GMT | Why use MUI, it I believe is only for lazy programmers, stick with ClassAct Boopsi classes since these are part of the OS now and anything done in MUI can be done in ClassAct. |

do half the things MUI is capable of.. |

Posted by The Great One on 01-Apr-2000 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 2 (nOw2): What features do you require from MUI that are not available in ClassAct/ReAction.
MUI GUIs require hardly no work to be done for resizing etc thats why they are easy to develope. |

Posted by Adam Szymczak on 02-Apr-2000 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 1 (The Great One): ReAction can do anything that MUI does? Really? Can you snapshot the size and location of windows in ReAction? Can you have global and application specific GUI settings in ReAction? Does ReAction come with custom classes that can be customized by the user? |

Posted by Eric on 02-Apr-2000 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 1 (The Great One): MUI is only for "lazy programmers"? What does that mean? Programmers
who don't want to waste a lot of time developing GUI stuff? How is
that a bad thing? I have to say, I'm more likely to be able to get
MUI applications to work and look the way I want them to. It seems
more "Amiga-ish".
