While browsing through several MP3 archives this morning, I stumbled across a link to Annex's "Back For The Future". Now even though I never even heard the song, I was surprised to see it included on a page that had absolutely nothing to do with the Amiga. Of course there's also the aspect of ilegal distribution, and as such I won't be mentioning the URL here. Any comments?

I have been thinking about releasing an "official unofficial" AMIGA
RAP mp3 to the community... With "true real raw" hip hop beats and
german rap bout the amiga history... Of course created on AMIGA!

Well, at the very least do a version in English! Props to the German contingent for doing their part in keeping Amiga alive, but if the song's any good, I'd like to understand what's being said!

Oh, you just happened on it on an MP3 archive and will only mention that it exists, but not where.... Sounds a little suspicious to me. Start up people's interest, why don't you? ;)
Of course, I own the actual CD so I can also get the MP3 of it and not violate any laws. I encourage others to use MP3's as a way to:
1) have a copy of a song that isn't commercially available but that supports the group, such as bootlegs of Grateful Dead or Blue Oyster Cult live shows;
2) try out music before you buy, then buy it if you like it enough. Otherwise the artist will receive zero for the effort, inspiration, and perspiration.
