You probably read this pretty much everywhere now, but just to keep things complete and put it into scope... Michael writes: Finally! Microsoft is found guilty in trying to monopolise the computer industry. Read more somewhere on the web (it's all over the place).

Yeah m$ done the AmigaBasic, but it's just a license, Bill Gates never used a real computer : an Amiga :)

I think you could say that about a lot of 1.x programs at the time. I never knew how buggy 1.3 was I guess - the other day I was playing around with my old A1000 - all I did was click the close gadget on a window and "foom" guru-meditation...

Here`s a thought... if a drug dealer is found guilty of a crime, they can have all their ill-gotten gains removed by the government and the courts.
I know the talk is only of *maybe* splitting the company, but I think it would be interesting to see them have LARGE quantities of cash removed, both from Bill Gates` pocket, as well as the corporate side of the business - after all, they both earned substantially from illegal activities.
