I've had enough time to think about the current situation with advertiser problems and everything, and I guess I calmed down enough to at least consider regular updates again. I apologize if the main news item on ANN for the last three days was ANN itself, but I hope to return to regular updates again. Restarting work on ANN, improving the scripts and the contents, should again be my main priority. I hope that I will succeed in finding suitable sponsors again, since I cannot afford to invest so much time in keeping this site running without adequate financial compensation. But anyway, thanks for all your support. With your help, I'm hoping that I can resolve all outstanding problems and make sure that ANN's future will be much better. :)

Posted by Chris Spicer on 17-May-2000 22:00 GMT | Christian,
Hey, this is a news site, and as far as I'm concerned, Amiga companies
screwing some of the most dedicated supporters of the machine are newsworthy.
Having been involved in an Amiga project which has been screwed by a trusted
Amiga company (and those are the only details I'm willing to mention) I know
how you must feel. However, don't let it get you down. The comments posted
over the last few days have shown that ANN has a dedicated group of supporters,
and that your efforts are much appreciated. |

Posted by Frank on 17-May-2000 22:00 GMT | Hey Christian, I read ANN more than once a day and it is my main source of information (along with amiga-news.de), and a really good one too.
Many friends of mine read it too.
Keep up the good work |

Posted by Unleaded on 17-May-2000 22:00 GMT | Perhaps YOU and OTHERS will wake up and stop believing LIES from the likes of Fleecey Moss, Gary Peake, and GATEWAY. You are ALL less than nothing. Christian LIES to you and you EAT IT UP. As long as amiga users sit back and believe the lies, then PC users will always be in control! If you didn't have role models like KYLE KIVI and put your faith in GOD then this never would have happened! You have only your self to blame for not being paid Christian!!!! |

How would you feel if you did something for someone else and you agreed to some amount of money and didn't get it. By the way, if you think the PC is so great why not get of this list and go watch a blue screen or something. |

Posted by Juan Carlos Marcos RodrÃguez on 18-May-2000 22:00 GMT | Chris, the site is better than ever technically, and the contents are not your own responsability. I believe this is the most popular Amiga related site nowadays, and you know it. It's very, very sad, that you have to suffer the same misery that plagues Amiga's business, I think we are all very proud of your job. Keep it coming!
See ya!
