Work is underway to port Fellow, a DOS-based Amiga emulator, to the Win32 (Win9x/NT/2000) platform. A new group consisting of 6 people has been formed to tackle this task. [..] The project is now in the phase of planning and tasks are being formed.

I think that Fellow is optimised for games, whereas UAE is a generic Amiga emulator that can be used for just about anything reasonable. I could imagine a scenario where programs could come with x86 versions of libraries or even code, and if the program was running under UAE then it would use the x86 code natively for speed. Of course, this isn't going to happen, but it would be an interesting idea to try out.

I want AGA support :), coz UAE with AGA emulation is fucking slow even on my P3/500, more slower than the o3o/5o of my brother...

This post hasn't got anything to do with Fellow, but Brian King has just annouced that he'll be dropping main development of the Windows port of UAE (though he'll still work on the MIDI and Picasso96 parts of the emulation).
So if nobody picks up where he left off, WinFellow will probably soon be the only alternative if it surpasses UAE in features in the future. (And WinUAE 0.8.12 won't have AGA support, so that makes it more probable)

If they would port it over to MacOS, it would be interesting.
A 68k-Emulation under the PPC should be much more powerful than under the lousy x86....
I'm sure, that a Amiga-Emulation under MacOS this more than just usable...
But as far as I know is Fellow not portable... a big Asm-Hack... :(

I think both Emulators SUCK ASS!!!!!
I would like a "stable" Amiga emlulator that can run fast than a stinking 020, I mean if
UAE Amiga does not seem at least half as fast as the CPU you are actually running it on, then
why bother, with a 500 Mhz AMD, I would think UAE could at least run DOOM.:O/
As for WinUAE, fuck it, why bother writing an emulator for a Multi-Tasking Enviroment, on a
Shared time OS anyhow?!?!?! Why not work on the stinking Be, QNX, and Linux ports of it, so they
are at least half as easy to install and work with, I can never get them to install half the time, or
if I can, I can never get the screen set up right, nor the mouse, and never Picasso emulation. :O/
