Jason Compton writes in comp.sys.amiga.misc: I haven't seen anybody mention this yet, which sort of surprises me. Amiga history completists may find it interesting. US Digital Communications, the company Viscorp became after giving up on interactive TV and trying to get into satellite telephony, has at long last gone out of business. The post-mortem is at http://finance.yahoo.com/quotes?s=usdi.ob&d=t or you can check your favorite stock info site by looking up the ticket USDI or USDI.OB.

I always thought they went under, so I'm more surprised to find they were still going under a different guise let alone that they've finally gone under. Anyway, interesting none the less.
Anyway, no time to dwell on the past... there's a future to be thinking of. :-)

In reply to Comment 1 (John Chandler):
I fully agree. I did wonder what had happneded to Viscorp but ok now I know. But it would also be interesting to know where a lot of other former employees of Commodore are doing today, like the UK Commodore MD who tried to buy out Amiga in 1994 and Peter Kittel.

In reply to Comment 2 (Richard):
Peter Kittel is still around. I've seen him on the Phoenix and KOSH lists a few times, so he's still doing Amiga-related things :-)
