Kent Seaton and Roger Moore have put the recent ZDTV Screensavers interview with Bill McEwen online as a streaming MP3 file. You can listen to it right here.

Well, it's not streaming unless you have the bandwidth of 128K ISDN. The older interview with CNN is streamable at 33.6 or higher though.

You've got to hand it to Bill: He sounds good in the media. I'm glad the Amiga has a front man who knows a thing or two about marketing. Nice one, Bill!

Ya I thought he sounded very professional as well (kind of scarry idea)
I always took Amiga serious, but professional?? yuck I hate that word.
Anyhow, he sounded great, sounded to me like he is the voice the main
stream will listen to, and so far he really seems to have his act together.
Though what was he talking about when he mentioned Heretic 2, Sin and what
not were already ported for the new OS, or did I hear this right?

In reply to Comment 2 (Kay Are Ulvestad):
I for one am certainly proud of the way Bill handel the whole interview. With a front man like him I don't think Amiga will have much trouble in the advertisment and marketing department. Bill seem to know the product inside out which is more then any of the other clowns from Gateway, Escom, and Viscorp put together knew about the Amiga. Way to go Bill Let's see more of these types of exposure for the Amiga on it's come back trail.

You are wrong with your comments about the Amiga Emulation Layer.
Please do not make comments like this until you know the truth.
I thank you for your concern, but your statement is in error.
Best regards,
Bill McEwen

Thanks for setting those straight that do NOT have a clue about the inner workings of Amiga emulation and what is planned to be realeased(-: For the other guy, please refrain from saying things in wich you no NOTHING about. We are trying to make a CHANGE in the world of computing and your statements, as shallow as they are, are not needed and in error..)-:

I think its great that You are watching ANN Bill !
Little notes like this one gives us the idea that indeed you guys at Amiga
are caring and watching over us.
Gives me a good feeling about Amiga staff. (Also Gary Peak..)
Great interview Bill, I hope to see hear more from you in this way !!
ps. do you think its possible for Amiga to tape all this kinds of exposure,
and post mpeg videos or something to the net ? that would be nice as we in
europe do not have all broadcast stations you in America have !
Thanks,
Mart

Bill,
If that's really you - just imagine that for the last 7 years or so,
various people had told you all kinds of great things are going to
happen but almost none of them ever do (I'll grant you OS 3.5 - that
actually happend). Any cynicism you may sense is a direct result of
the last seven years. I personally can't blame anyone for being scep-
tical at this juncture. Hell, I hate to get my hopes up much because
even I've been down this same road far to many times. If you don't feel
you or Amiga Inc. are being given a fair shake, harness your righteous
indignation into proving us all wrong (because I suspect that, deep
down, most of us would be quite pleased to be proven wrong - even at
this late date).

In reply to Comment 12 (MAS):
I couldn't agree more! 3.5 OS was a first step. Did any of you hear about the "dual processor" machine that MAC disclosed today? The new Amiga really needs to step out of the shadows soon. Bill thanks for your comments and more importantly leading our Amiga back into the future.
