According to this item at Amiga-news.de, Petro Tyschtschenko of Amiga Deutschland has founded a new company together with one Frank Basta, called Power Service GmbH. Apparently the company deals in the supply of workforce for software companies.

If it's true, it is great shame that Petro is gone. He has been with
us through all the hard times. He himself kept Amiga going
throughout all of the company changes. I have met him at all of the
shows and feel the Amiga community has lost a big player. Good luck
Petro with the future.

Where the hell does it say Mr Tyschtschenko left Amiga Deutschland?
Whether the article itself nor the item here on ann says so.

I just wonder if his placement firm will specialize in "foreign" talent from India? Seems like a major conflict of interest if he used Amiga's funds to send himself there to do this instead of sell 1200s.

What did Petro do for Amiga exactly, not much it seams since he lost his posistion as prez of Amiga, if you all don't recall.
But hey then again, he was German, so maybe he was off busy touring with groovy bands like Laibech or something, in which case I totally understand. :)

I would like to say my appreciation for Petro and good luck for his new company... okay, he's not the most expert Amiga user, but he managed to keep the classic Amiga alive during these years...
If he leave Amiga inc, I would still like to see him around for the Amiga expos, like the Pianeta Amiga in Italy this September.
You're always welcome, Petro, and I will offer you a beer next time we see! :)

Laibach is an old Yugoslavian industrial band, to the degree that 'Yugoslavian' is a good identifier these days. Of course, the heavy metal band Rammstein has a singer who sounds like a twin of Laibach's, uhm, crooner. ;>
I really dug Laibach's NOVA AKROPOLA. Nothing else matched it, though they had a good tune here and there, and OPUS DEI was pretty cool for a 'commercial' Laibach CD. I also enjoy their cover of I'VE GOT A FEELING off the LET IT BE cover album. That was a hoot!

Although Bill does not know what's happening for real (he did not speak to Petro yet), he is giving his comments to us. I find this very strange, because this should be an internal matter and he is starting rumours himself. He should be above this, while at the same time I think this is an important item. He'd better find out what's happening first and then decide how or not to react to this rumour. I think it's very unprofessional and sadly points out that internal communication has not changed much since Commodore.
However, should Petro decide to start up his own company in his present employers' time and he did not mention any details, then the only thing that matters is that Petro did something behind his bosses' back and that's not very decent -> there are other ways.

I may get flamed for this but, in my opinion Petro has made some decisions that
have driven the nails into the Amiga coffin. One of which was to keep the price
of the Amiga 4000 at about twice the going price of a (argh) PC. As much as I
wanted an A4000, I was forced to purchase a PC for financial reasons. Oh sure he
claimed he was doing this so that people wouldn't think he was just dumping them
onto the market, but if they are more affordable and you are still generating a
profit then chances are there will be more purchases and more revenues will be
generated for whatever purposes needed. so if he's going, I say good riddence!

Funny, when Petro was with Amiga he was a hero.
Now he's setting up his own company, he is seen as a traitor.
And not only that, but people are rubbishing for his time at Amiga.
I have learned a lot about what Petro did at Amiga from message boards and mailing
lists. Some of it good, some of it bad.
I have to admit I always just thought of him as a BizDev manager for a company
that weren't developing anything.
(if) He's gone I wish him luck. But I won't miss him overly.

This is an absolutely pointless remark made by an ilinformed person.
Go to amiga-news.de and check what his remark was!!!!
It is a pure financialy plan and if you can't see why he did it your really not all that bright. Petro still stays with Amiga. Please don't make any judgements before the person himself has responded.
And for all you people that responded with saying Petro didn't do anything.... you're all NUTS. He is the one that kept Amiga alive. He also could have said "Haaa, the hell with it". He has been the father figure for the last couple of years and without him we would be in a much worse state. Probably even beyond repair.

I took this to mean he was involved with another business "on the side".
Nothing that was said indicated he was no longer going to be with Amiga.
I've have met Petro on numerous occaisions and emailed him frequently. While I know
nothing about how well versed he may be on all things Amiga, I dare say you will find
no one more passionate than he about Amiga. If not for Petro and his efforts we would be
talking about Amiga in the past tense.
Bills lack of knowledge indicates (to me)that either He is too busy with new the AmigaOne
to be aware of any movement by Petro, or Petro senses he will no longer be needed once the
last new Classic Amiga is sold and is making this move to assure himself of a future.
In either case, I wish him the best. He has been a staunce supporter of the Amiga, and a
good friend to all he met.

I'm becoming increasingly concerned with the state of Amiga just
lately, we seem to be falling into oblivion, again. Why has Petro
gone? Surely the new Amiga inc can find him something to do? If it
weren't for Petro I think things would be worse today, he made
mistakes, but did a lot of good for Amiga to, respect due :-) Anyway,
I here the SEAL show in the UK was very disappointing, there's still
no sign of the BoXeR, the new PPC cards have been delayed, again, the
G3/4 projects all seem dead. And, Amiga inc, well things are very
quiet on that front, there seems to be little interest outside the
Amiga "Community", which also seems increasingly sparse and
disjointed. The latest Amiga Active magazine is seriously lacking in
the reviews department, software especially. Innovative have left the
market in a "nice" kind of way. And to top it all we have the gross
miscontuct of Alive Mediasoft, selling pirate software, taking money
for goods that never shipped, and then denying anything happened?!
What the hell is going on, why do we need Morph OS? 2 years ago would
have been nice, what's the point with AmiVerse just around the corner.
Unless something amazing happens, there will be nothing left within a
year.
Hoping things will get better, as I have for the last 6 years.
