Most of you have probably seen this in the unmoderated section already, but here it is for the main page. This is Elbox's answer to Eyetech's criticism towards the Mediator PCI-busboard.

Well, I'm glad to hear Elbox speak up. They make great products. Now tell me more about this "MEDIATOR evolution line" for the A4000 and A3000! In particular the A3000.

Very disappointed to see this kind of thing. Not toally blaming Elbox for this response, but where do they find the time to write this, when two emails requesting info on what will work with the Mediator sent by me have gone unanswered........ As someone who has bought a Mediator board, I hope that Elbox and Eyetech's products are judged by the marketplace and reveiewers, not by pre-launch mud slinging. Grow up guys and smell the coffee, we need in-fighting now less than ever.

Hm.. I wasn't aware that Elbox were the originators of the products mentioned - these are all very good pieces of kit.
I therefore look forward to the Mediator release with some interest, although I don't know what the Eyetech criticism was. I'm particularly interested since I have an '060, but no PPC, and buying £700 worth of PPC board and gfx card seems a bit OTT, whereas a Mediator and a PC gfx card may be worthwhile.
Any projected prices anywhere for the A1200 version?
