An Australian IT magazine have an article about the ACE 2000 computer show for alternative systems, including Amiga.

It's nice what he said about Germans, but it is not quite true. Of course in the banking business they use OS/2, and in the DTP-business they have Macs, but everyone else has sold his sool to M$.
Germans are not technical people, most of them are idiots or fanatics (like us... ;-)
The idiots buy their PCs at the local drug store, where the clerks don't even have a clue about computers. When the iMac and the iBook appeared, it was a great success in the US. The iBook holds nearly 20% of the notebook-market.
But here, people think Apple-computers are the slowest computers in the world and they don't believe you, if you tell them different.
Once they're used to something, they'll keep it until the sun blows up.
The AmigaOne and the OS (or OE? or AmigaDE?) will have a hard time in Germany, because people don't want to know that something is better than WinDOS.
They wouldn't change computer-systems just for logical reasons.
My pessimistic prediction is: Amiga will not be a success in Germany (perhaps even Europe?).
