Patrick Roberts recently held a vote for the most wanted apps to be ported to the Amiga DE. The results can now be seen here. The page includes also a little surprise. :)

They're running AmigaDE alright! To prove it go to www.netcraft.com and search for adsl-206-170-238-141.dsl.lsan03.pacbell.net

I just tryed the link, and landed on a M$ site advertising for their products!
Does ADE make them fear something?

It's not an ad. It's the default page which IIS (Internet Information Services, Microsoft's Web server and related services) puts up when you install it for the first time.

SO can anyone shed some light onto what zAMilo is? I realise its a web server, but is it a port of Apache, or some other open source web server, or is it something totally new?

I get this result:

worked fine for me just now. :)
This is cool, though. I'm ready for the new Amiverse!
I only wish I would have found out about this vote before-hand
though. I didn't get to vote. :(
This type of poling should be done on a continuing basis, don't
you think? When the news gets around, there will be a much
larger participation.
