Kresimir Rogic writes: Watch the floppy disk demo clip from Bill McEwens seminar at ACE 2k which was held in Melbourne, Australia on 21st and 22nd October 2000. The demo basically shows Bill McEwen loading up a game written for the AmigaDE which is on a floppy that is run on a winblows box and a Linux Box. Due to my webspace limitations, the video is in .asf *cough* format, which I think is Winblows only. In a few days I hope to aquire more space so that I can add Mpeg 2 videos for download. The clip is available on KrasH's ACE 2k Video Page.

Doh, I am sure I didn't do the speeling mistake. But hey, I could've done it accidently. Was in so much of a rush grabbing video footage off my MiniDV camera and compiling the clips and then compressing the hell out of them in all sorts of formats. Only just finished mpeging all the clips a few minutes ago. Oh well.

I hope the mpeg version will be better: The 2nd OS part is very dark and pixelised.
Regards, Christophe.

I fixed it now.
How much bandwidth do you have, by the way?

In reply to Comment 5 (Christophe Decanini):
Well, unfortunatly that wasn't my fault. The linux box was using a pretty dark projector. It is watchable as an mpeg however. (Bill McEwEn actually points out in an earlier clip that what occures on the windows box will work on the linux box also) Not forgetting that the .asf file is 1/7 the size of the mpeg which has been compressed to about 7Mb from the DV cameras 250Mb/s.

In reply to Comment 7 (Kresimir Rogic):
the 250Mb/s should be 250Mb per MINUTE.
I should really learn to slow down my one finger typing.

In reply to Comment 7 (Kresimir Rogic):
Is it just me or is asf genuinely inversely scaleable?
It seems that no matter how much you reduce the size of an asf while playing, it always looks blocky.
