From the Microcode Solutions homepage (on 8th Nov): "We have encountered a few problems with the compiler we were using for the Amiga. Today, H&P (makers of the compiler) are to email us a new (corrected) version that should fix the problems that we have run into. It came to the point where we could no longer make work-arounds for the compiler errors. We would like to publically thank H&P for their continued support of this project! The Amiga version of iFUSION is the base code for the PC port."

1. The feature list and the screenshot look impressive. But I still wonder why they won't change the 2x1 aspect on the gadgets. It has been with us since 85. Why won't they change it to fit high resolution screens? How many runs their Ami in 640x256/240 anymore?
<P>
2. Add-ons add-ons. I'm looking forward to the full list. The features they announce are already in custody of most Amigans (the datatype reco. system sounds interesting though). Please do something more than adding apps!
<P>
I'm really looking forward to os3.9 - but please help me live without all my hacks - os3.5 has a lot of configurability to adopt for.
<p>

I can't believe that Drew et al still think that anyone believes their lies and bull*** these days :(
Let's face it folks - all those of us who have PAID that crook money for FusionPPC can kiss that money goodbye :(
First he promised us FusionPPC within 60 days of getting sufficient interest.
Then he said 60 days after receiving the money.
Then, months later, after no news, he starts blaming everyone else under the sun except himself - WarpUp supposedly had severe bugs (which was news to the WarpUp team!);
Then he blames StormC.
Now, months later, he blames StormC *again*.
Let's face it - Drew always WAS a liar and a thief (as anyone ripped of by him in teh past will attest), and he hasn't changed his tune today :(

Personally I'd like to see them quit fiddling around with
the compiler and just finish the darn thing...Fusion (68K)
does exist and it works quite well...so they CAN program
when they want to. I'll actually pay the (too high) price
for FusionPPC...IF it works and IF they bother to finish it.
No way will I pre-order anything though.

Did someone actually pre-order wish cash for this product?

Yes, a great many of us did pre-order and pay up front for PPC Fusion.
I am one of those who were stupid enough to believe Drew's bullshit this time round, sad to say :(
Oh well, that's the last I shall ever see of THAT money :(

As a developer, I can sympathise with their experiences of compiler issues; I have wasted a large amount my development time trying to work around problems with the compiler. I was fortunate enough to receive a couple of updates which helped, but there were still problems with the generated code. Unless the problems are solved, what is the point of releasing software which obviously doesnt work correctly?
