What graphics chip does it have?
It seems rather expensive to me but i guess they don't mean to seel it directly to the end customer but rather to ISP's and so.
Could be of use to company's who are into the web/kiosk market at least if the Espial Escape browser is configurable and stable enough.

Is it just me, or is the case design based on one of those drawings made by some Disney employees, presented by Amiga Inc. some time ago?

I should say that it looks like a bad Playstation2-clone.

At that price point there are going to get killed. By this time next year we'll
have a wack of game consoles all alot cheaper than can do the same thing and more,
with equal ease of use.
We have some now that are cheaper and are capable of basic email and web surfing type funtcions.
Will these boxes allow acces to other internet functions like newsgroups, IRC, etc, or are they
are email and the world wide web the noly two things you can get out of these devices?

They can do everything, from full Java to IRC and all the stuff. Did you read
the statements ? If they are true :-)

PS2 looks just terrible, so I suppose you could also mean "terrible PS2-clone, and as the PS2 looks so terrible allready it means that Meternet thingy is actually the opposite", oh well ;-)

Playstation2 looks real nice! Maybe I'll buy one... or wait for Gamecube.
