Matt Sealey cites from the page: This is a petition to gauge support for a move to get Haage & Partner, or Amiga for that matter, to release the changelogs for and from versions of the Operating System and included tools greater than Release 3.1. [..] If you support the open release of these logs, then please sign the petition!

While I support the petition, I do not support the listing of each and every email address when viewing the list of users who have signed the petition. No need to feed the SPAM harvesters. We need to fight SPAM wherever possible.

In reply to Comment 1 (Mousky):
I have had several discussions with Matt in regards to listing the email addresses of petition signers. It seems that British legislation requires him to post the email addresses unless he goes through a lengthy process to register as a Data Controller. Those Brits simply love red tape.

There is a free program, for the PC, called ASS Maker(Hey, I didn't name the goddamned thing! ;') that changes email addys to javascript, automagically.
Supposedly, it keeps email harvestbots from getting an address. There is also something called iVENOM, which you add to your page(s) that sends thousands of false addys to the harvestbot, causing them to fall over or some such.
