This are great news.
I hope to see more informations in the information section. There are already many questions in the mailing list. I also wish to see some prototype pictures :)
We need to know more both on the hardware and the software part. Eyetech should look into the mailing list and complete the web site ASAP (if not they will have to answer 200 times the same thing).
Best wishes to Eyetech !

It would be good if the archives were open to all.

Looks off-topic, but let's hope Elbox will move faster since now. Here comes a great challenger.

Will AmigaOne support all the AmigaPPC WarpOS applications or we 'll
use only the 68k apps for the AmigaOS. About AmigaDE I'm not very
interested I won't buy a PPC just to run something that it could run
on something cheaper and with more support with the same speed, a PC
that is :P The important is that along with AmigaDE we could enjoy the
G3/G4 with AmigaOS/WarpOS.

It will have to...or else the Hyperion games that are being
bundled with it won't do much good.

I believe that's the idea, yes.

In reply to Comment 5 (ehaines):
Hyperion is one of Amiga's Software partners. Maybe they mean AmigaDE based Games for the AmigaONE. Of course, the AmigaDE won't be ready in March. Anybody here from Hyperion who would like to clear this up? WarpUP for the Eyetech board sure would be a nice thing.

The AmigaOne sounds like a very cool piece of hardware with 6xPCI + 1xAGP. I'm looking forward to see some PCB pictures :)...

The Amiga One will allow users to run all current WarpOS based programs including the upcoming games by Hyperion: Heretic 2, Shogo, Freespace, SiN etc.

Last time I so enny ting about a AmigaOne,
it was going to run only a PPC-prossesor.
Even so, It will take a long long time before enny one
we will se som hardware. Just look how long it's
taken whith the BoXeR design.
