Sorry to see you go White Knight - I remember your ads in UK Amiga magazines during the glory days, however I though you'd vanished ages ago. Perhaps we'll see you back selling AmigaDE soon. In reply to comment 1, that A4000 is priced quite nicely.

unacceptable then it kicks me to another page.

Priced quite nicely?
Crumbs - you must have been taken for a ride recently! :)
I buy and sell Zorro based Amigas (about 10-15 a year) and something of that spec is generally going for less than £150 - probably about £120.

I can't see them shifting much unless they wave the 50 pound minimum order!

Yeah, I was thinking about getting that classic racing game for under 2 pound until I saw that it would have cost 50 plus p and p -- no thanks.
I think they should get rid of this 50 minimum on clearence items if they wish to really clear them -- maybe give ppl free p and p for orders over 75 pounds to help shift a few things.

well, i ordered some items which came to around 35 quid.. but with postage and
packing it came to 60.. however i didnt read the minimum of 50 quid before
postage. anyway. i called the guy, and its ok and he will ship, however most of my items
had already been ordered but the website doesnt update itself. so now i should be sent
the few remaining items which were not already ordered. he also mentioned the postage calculation
would be less for these items, but was also vague when the order could be sent out.
ill be watching my bank account very closely :)

I ran into the minimum level issue with my order as well; only I didn't see
that clause on the web site when ordering. Instead I got an Order Confirmation,
then later a rejection. This made me feel irritated and I replied saying
I wouldn't be using W.K.T. again - which I won't. Well, this proposterous act
immediately prompted the very professional salesperson to write back and insult
me, saying I certainly couldn't either read or write as the minimum order clause
was "all over their site" and I misspelled their name! In addition he said, that
my "tiny 5 pound order would have made us such good friends - NOT!" Yes, that's
what it said.
I've done web trading many, many times, and never have I experienced this kind
of response. I haven't ever seen a "minimum order level" either, like "we can't
be bothered by your stupid little transactions" - I guess customer care is an
unknown concept to White Knight Technology. In business, the customer's always
right, even when he's wrong. If I didn't see the minimum order clause on the
web site, then per definition it's not my fault, it's their's. *They* should
make sure *I* see it. Why didn't their transaction script immediately tell me
I was below the threshold? Why did I get a confirmation before I got a rejection?
These are issues, a business like W.K.T. should address as soon as they're seen,
yet instead they spend their time insulting me, a potential customer, because
I express dissatisfaction with the way my case has been handled. Very professional
business practices indeed.
Oh, and BTW, having a minimum order level of £65 (rest of EU) when trying to
clear out items with unit prices as low as £3 is the most flawed and rediculous
idea I've seen yet. Wai to go, White Knight, and thank you.

well. i totally agree this guy has no idea how to run a business.
after the order i mentioned in previus post and realising others had ordered what
i wanted, it was really no longer feasable to buy a few small iems and pay all that postage
so i phoned and cancelled my order.. the guy moaned about having just updated
the site, but .. it was his fault for having such a flawed system in the first place.
and how in hell could he expect me to pay 30 odd quid for about 5 pounds of items
just because he had already sold the other stuff.
