In reply to Comment 1 (AdmV0rl0n):
We already discussed this on IRC.
It's called the I'm-too-lame-to-RTFM syndrome.
That together with I'm-unable-to-use-snoopdos :)

In reply to Comment 2 (Mark Olsen):
But whether you use snoopdos or not has nothing to do with it, the software should not crash full stop, it should have good reovery procedures. And enlighten me as to why it crashes sine I dont use it I wont RTFM.

I agree, but this was just a silly followup to what happened on IRC. And he didn't say it crashed his computer, only he got an "crashes with an UI error", which I interpret as a requestor. Anyways, don't follow up on this, it was just a sidenote to him.

I'm still getting various errors, I can get chats to work, sometimes people have trouble sending me messages, and the same with me sending them, it takes a long time, and the client tells me it still is sending it, even if the other part already have recieved it. I get also an additional user with the ip of the one I'm sending the mssage to. but with only a nick containing strange numbers.

I have no idea what you are all talking about. The new STRICQ works fine for me with Snoopdos 3.6.

In reply to Comment 4 (Mark Olsen):
Erm ..
Firstly, I don`t recall being involved in IRC conversations...
If I was then forgive me. Secondly, I`ve just added a comment in an open forum, not in any unpleasant way, but just to add that their is an issue with this program.
Programs in the real world should just install and run. I accept that when they are in Beta or test this may not be the case. I was`nt being overly critical in my comment.
Lastly, If the damn program crashes due an MUI class/lib crash, the developer should release a working version in the archive.
I`m a fan of Stricq, but I`m also a fan of stability. Its not stable :)
