Bob Scharp of Amiga-STL writes: "Merlancia Industries and Nova Design will both be making some astounding announcements during a joint Keynote Address that will open the Amiga 2001 show on Saturday, March 31st, 2001. Details are not available in advance, but both companies promise some great news. The Keynote Addresses will begin before the opening of the exhibitor floor on Saturday and are open to all at no extra charge."

Hmmm... Amiga OE running atop MorphOS? Or Amiga OE running MorphOS atop Linux? How many things could it plausibly be? ;) Surely Nova Design, of all people, will embrace the new OE as well, right?

Kermit Woodall has stated that Nova Design will support the AmigaDE. What that has to do with this announcement, we will have to wait and see...........

Merlancia anounced their range of amiga compatables months ago, but were greeted by some with scepticism. Stung by this, they have kept quiet since.
