QoS is Quality of Service.
For example, when the radio feed from the St Louis show stops and
starts, that is poor QoS.
It is possible to guarantee QoS by an arrangement similar to task
priorities in multitasking. Of course you can't work magic if the
bandwidth just isn't there, but you can give streaming media priority
over emails.
