Now if only the AWeb team did the same, release beta versions.

Well, at least AWeb has gotten some updates (image plugins), whilst IB users have gotten the royal shaft. Thanks HiSOFT!

Just curious - are IB and AWeb still being developed?

According to the big O, IB is still still in developement, but since the last update was a year plus ago, and a programmer who has not been heard from by the Amiga community since before that, *NO*. Thanks HiSOFT.

iBrowse was my favourite of the Amiga www browsers by far, I'm really disappointed that it disappeared like this :(
Voyager and AWeb hold no appeal to me whatsoever... in fact, I actually find browsing with AWeb decidedly unpleasant

Supposedly IB is still in development but we haven't seen anything, even a beta
release. AWeb just released a slightly newer version with OS3.9. Since it is being included with classic os upgrades, I would assume that it's development will continue. It's nice to see Voyager still continuing. Perhaps it's time to buy V. I bought IB & AW, I really only use AW when IB isn't working for certain sites.

I can only remember that the www.omnipresence.com website went down, with only the message "Soon it will be alive!" (or something like that), and then... nothing!
I know that was ages ago, but things seemed to go downhill from there...
