Fleecy Moss from Amiga wrote this on the AmigaOne mailin list:
Hey guys 8-)
whilst I know we all want to beta test the AmigaOne/OS4, we do have
code ready to test that can be run on existing Amigas. If anyone is
interested in doing this, please send an email to gary@amiga.com giving your machine configs and testing skills.
You will have to sign an NDA to do the testing, but it will really help to iron out any problems and speed OS4.0 on its way.
cheers.

Posted by Kjetil on 20-May-2001 22:00 GMT | Well the www.amigadev.net page, where only taking about beta testing the AmigaDE.
not the AmigaOS4.0, Okay three where some news posted like the SHOPE language, programmed by the developer of Amiga E development language.
The pages don’t explain a lot about the very closed projects, even if some development stuff is posted.
Some times this pages are so technical to be of any used as an overview for the user base, And they describes to little for uninvolved developers, as they are closed projects.
Well I think you find more information on thins like AmigaOne, AmigaOS4.0 on www.amiga.de if you are looking for information.
Me my self and I, am going to develop programs on the Linux box, if threes ever going to be a new Amiga not dependent on the Amiga4000 / Amiga1200 motherboards then I’m going porting the programs. Until then I’m using Linux for stability and speed, server, scripting and development of my own programs. |
