After some times in silence, Melina Softworks is comming back with some new exciting annoucements and products.
After a complete lifting of the website, Melina Softworks is proud to announce Vodoo Wars, the next generation of RTS gaming ...
Vodoo Wars is a collaboration between Melina and the T.D.S. crew but the official homepage is at Melina's Homepage.
Here (www.melina-softworks.fr.fm) you'll find all the informations you want concerning Vodoo Wars but also Nostalgia (the multi emulation system), SpiderWeb (the global server) and SkyLights (the multimedia system).
Enjoy ! ;o)

We have seen good games started but never being finished on the amiga thousands of times before and it's always sad to loose a compelling game that you have been waiting for.
Looks good though :) |

Posted by Ville Sarell on 26-Aug-2001 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 4 (gz): Indeed. I would love to see the games like Exploder2260 (not sure about the name anymore!), that RGP from Pagan etc..
I think the best way to announce new games would be to give an announcement that the game has just been released! Nice surprise ;) |

Posted by Kent Seaton on 26-Aug-2001 22:00 GMT | Oh yeah... I can't wait until SpiderWeb is closer to complete, I wonder what the web components will support for scripting/cgi types. Vodoo Wars looks to be very good as well. My only suggestion for Vodoo Wars is the ability to change out the base of the units with other components... for ex. One vehicle has a hovercraft base and you want to give it something like a heavy tank tread base... that would be slick. |

Posted by Ed Collins on 29-Aug-2001 22:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 11 (MikeF): Hi Mike,
There isn't a proper website at the minute although we do have our own server and domain. Currently working on reviving the old game encyclopedia onto a new layout (and going blind in process from editing so many webpages). Once that is finished I'll see about a new website for the games. |
