IBM to Unveil Sahara PowerPC Chip : Comment 1 of 3ANN.lu

Sounds nice even if it won't happne yet for a while.
I think is most unlikly that we would see a such on a futures Amiga so it would have full support, I must say that sadly Amiga hardware developers had been to satisfied to use 3-4 year old stuff rather than try to get more upto date, could it be that the Amiga hardware market has got to small for people give up their Amigas and move over to the dreadful emul/m$ combo?

In reply to Comment 1 (Trizt):
First of all its a 16bit layered chip. This chip is based on the archtiecture of bus design thereby limiting it to a 16bit bus layer. This design is out of date by 40 years and woefully need of updating . This is pci and agp. Wait there is hope. The classic Amiga is the major improvment needed. I agree the rendering properties need to be fixed but that is it . Merlancia is adressing that . Where can you have true real-time and true real-time multitasking ?
AMIGA is where and only there.
AMIGA

Anonymous person - so you reckon 16-bit architecture is from the 1960s, right? And you want to be taken seriously?
Oh dear.
Then you go on to claim that the Amiga is the only true real-time multitasking system?
Get real.
On both counts.
Please.
