But what is new in there, compared to the WOS Pack in the OS 3.9/BB1 ?
It seems to be the same buggy powerpc.library 16.1(don`t work proper with PUP emu,
i use the 16.1 beta instead) and I can`t find anything new???

Sorry to say, MorphOS have no
real use of this update as MorphOS don't use the original code,
so the MorphOS Warp API is only version 0.9 and don't
contain all the functions and library tags.
The MorphOS Warp API functions don't necessary
do the same as the original code. As they don't
relay know watt the original code is doing.
The way the transparent API is made is by
implementing the same Herder file as the WarpUP,
and by studding the developers manuals and sharing
knowledge with otter MorphOS developers they can guess
watt the WarpUP functions are doing.
Then thy are in potion to redirect the
actions to the quark kernel, by converting
arguments and building databases to store information,
sent from the WarpUP programs.

I didn't buy OS3.9 because 3.5 was very similar
apart from WarpUp 5 and a few things like asyncwb.
Didn't seem worthwhile given AmigaOne was supposed
to be out by now.
Does anyone know the merits of 3.5 users (WarpUp v4)
installing this new WarpUp ?

emulation be ?
Not the whole system, just basic compatibility.
On another matter; I know there is a big MorphOS vs
the world argument. I don't really care but I like the
idea of choice. If Pegasos can really run MorphOS *and*
AmigaOS 4 I will be happy.

Any chance we'll see a non-MorphOS version of AHI PPC? If not, that to me would be the sole reason for trying to emulate MorphOS in AOS.

No, sorry, that's impossible for the very same reason: m68k interrupts cannot call ppc code.
Or something like that. To tell the truth, I cannot remember the exact details, but it had something to do with m68k interrupt driver calls ppccode, which in turn class m68k hooks (using a rather ugly hack where the m68k was put in halt mode, waiting for commands from the ppc) and then returns to the driver.
I really thought I would be able to make it work, until the very end. Had
CausePPCInterrupt() been callable from interrupts and asyncronious, like exec's Cause(), it would have worked just fine, but that was not the case.

(Obviously, AHI/m68k, AHI/ppc and AHI/ix86 are built from the same sources.)

The AHI was complied using the new 68->x86 crosscompiler.
Which means it's x86-native.
