Whats your problem Brecht? Everytime some people say/read/discousses something (positive) about Amiga you have to comment it in a negative way (always negative), why can't you just shut up once in a while?
I am being SO tired of you Brecht, why don't you start an emulator site or something, somewhere else, why not find some friends to share your .adf collection with?

One more thing...
I can say, with assuredness, that the rumors of the death of AI have been *GREATLY* exagerated.
Now, the discerning reader must ask him or herself "Why would they say that?"
Ay, there's the rub...

Sounds good. I'm not going to pick apart all the good bits (and much of the game plan noted this time is a restatement of what's been said in past months), so here are pokes at the interesting parts:
Via Google, Design Genetix's site: http://www.design-genetix.com/
Flash is required, and I don't have a full implementation, so I can't comment until the machine with a real Macromedia player frees up.
New DE developments always rock.
A little more Zen needs to be applied to creating the "two great products that'll go great together" image, and that falls to whoever's doing the brand-creation gig. Whenever [DE|AmigaOS] gets called something like 'crucial,' those more interested in [AmigaOS|DE] go "What about me!?," and there's got to be a clever way around that. :)
Now, the sudden call to evangelism is.. surprising.. and in response, I think the Amiga "community" is going to do what it does best- respond in a fragmented, unexpected manner, moving around vast quantities of conflicting and misinformed info- Many of us are nutjobs at heart, after all. ;) To harness the community to constructive ends, some sort of communication/guidance structure needs to be built, something that can keep evangelists informed of evangelism-related stuff, and allow for communal revision->consensus. The mailing lists are a start, but I'm thinking of a system that goes so far as to connect reporters with appropriate interviewees. (If anyone wants to bang heads about this on AmiGen, I'm game. :))

Ami2D ??? Any one got any info
[quote]
Whether it is raising money in the US, joint development with partners in the Far East, or developing Ami2D in Sweden and New Zealand, Amiga is truly a global, 24 hours a day company.
For instance, our new Ami2D services have been available to a select few for two months now. In fact, Pulsar Interactive's new AmigaDE game, Gobbler, was written using this technology. Ami2D is a very exciting development, and I believe that it will give DE developers a definite advantage over what other products can offer

Geee, though you said you spent 3 days at.....
Yeah, you can use current technology, even web based technology to fake
a system running on anything. You can even fake running Scala on Windows
using an Amiga as they did at a show they were promoting the Windows
version that was not yet done. From the projection screen you wouldn't
know it wasn't running on Windows. But I noticed the Keyboard and questioned
the speaker about it. Yep, there was an Amiga under the skit of the system stand.
logic.....

Well they did show progress with the mpegs of DE running on the different devices, and we only have to wait a few weeks now to see what's gonna happen with OS4, seeing as the date for that (from Hyperion) is supposed to be end of January, beginning of February. I think they have done a good job so far, especially with certain so called "community" members slagging them off. Right now I`m gonna wait and see before I pass any judgement.

I could have done that years ago to "demonstrate" Eddas, but I'm more honest than that. Best to show what you have, now, than to show what "might" be, as it makes expectations that you might not be able to reach, which causes the very kind of backlash Amiga is suffering now.
