There are new submission guidelines for user-contributed news / comments / rumours / discussions. In the future, there will be more rigid checks, and items not complying with these guidelines might be edited or removed. One common mistake is that people merely post URLs instead of using HTML markup for links.

When I submited news a few weeks ago I had the problem that the first link in html worked fine. However the second and third link didn't work. Instead the plain html code was shown in the preview. Don't know if this had been already fixed though. |

I like those. Mind if I take and modify them for use on Amiga.org? |

I find that these rules follows common sense, and the guidelines
on html related issues is good. Not even all Amiga users knows html...
So, is it ok for me to use them, or parts of them on my site BoingNow! ? |

That, plus a full preview loop, would cut down on the malformed postings while allowing for readability.
Just my EUR0.03. Keep up the good work, Christian! |

Posted by victor # on 16-Feb-2002 10:15 GMT | BTW, Christian, there is something wrong with the search system of ANN... It lists items not even relevant and doesn't those relevant. (I tried both the simple and the advanced one.) |

Posted by victor # on 16-Feb-2002 10:18 GMT | Ohh, BTW2, there is also a little problem so that after submitting a comment the name of the category is missing from the URL. Like, I got this URL after posting the above one: |
