It means you can run over kickstarts then whats in the amiga , so you can play older games , or even run newer os` ( only if you legally own the rom image ) .
It can even make it faster , the rom being in ram rather then the original chips.

I use it to:
* Patch in Exec 44.1 from Piru
* Do the OS3.9 Rom modules
* Have better guru alerts
* Fix various ROM bugs (see the modules documentation)
Also, at some point, I'm going to finish my improved early-startup-menu... errr.. maybe :)
