It's not mentioned in the HTML pages, but you can get it from the
download sites.

It's not on the front page yet but it's mentioned in Wagner's
.plan file. You can download it from ftp.vapor.com.
The .plan is worth reading as it mentions yet another instance
where B.Hermans has lied shamelessly.

1 April 2002
============
* A new V build is now available for download (thanks to Zapek)
* Apparently, one "B.Hermans" claims to have gained access to the
MUI CVS repository.
Well, the MUI CVS repository is on this machine, and no
"B.Hermans" has access, unless he managed to hack into the box
unnoticed.
....these silly wars :)

why the hell should he enter the mui cvs? isn't it more likely that
a coder gets access, B.Hermans is a laywer ?

I don't consider it silly at all. When the lawyer of a commercial
company lies shamelessly in public, then I think it's
quite serious.

In reply to Comment 5 (Anonymous):
Jeezus, ofcourse I'm not going to download the MUI code myself.
An OS 4 developer will handle this and no, we have no taken Stefan up yet on the offer to get access as we currently don't have time yet to tackle the MUI port.
I can however assure you that we entered into a legally binding agreement with Stefan Stuntz and that it was a pleasure doing business with the guy as he responded to contract amendments nearly in real time.
A signed contract for MUI has been in my possession for at least 10 days now.
I never announce anything without having a contract in hand.
New Voyager beta : Comment 8 of 83ANN.lu

To quote Ben Hermans from http://www.swaug.freeserve.co.uk/interview010402.html
"Stefan Stuntz and I negotiated a contract which allows us access to the very latest MUI source-code stored in his CVS repository. Every licensee of MUI is required to feed back all and any changes into this CVS repository."
Nothing about a CVS account name "B.Hermans" in there. Chill out people.

In reply to Comment 7 (Ben Hermans/Hyperion):
Thanks Ben, though I don't think some people deserve the time you take to respond to them. It looks like there's always people trying to nitpick at everything without having access to the full facts to them I'd like to ask: Where's the joy in calling people lyars or spreading rumours about people without having 100% proof that what you're spreading is true?
Anyway, Ben, thanks for OS4 in advance, I'm sure it'll be a great addition to my computer collection and quite possible make Amiga my main system again.

Not much seems to have changed for this release. Would it be too cynical of me to suggest that this release was rushed out in response to the Hyperion licensing of IBrowse?

I still find Voyager to be the most capable Amiga browser on the market. I bought it when V3 came out and still use it. The latter betas have all worked fine on my machine.

I don't see how that is possible? I haven't been able to use V3 AT ALL for about a year, just launching it crashes my system hard. Yes I followed all the documentation, and yes my libraries are all current.

>OTOH, IBrowse was worth every penny.
After reading about IBrowse being the browser of choise in OS4.0, I went to
IB mailinglist(yahoo) and looked for the 2.2 demo, downloaded it and started
browsing around really heavy/agressive, going into all sorts of categories,
it lasted almost 20mins(demo timesout at 30mins) i remember i was at some
mp3/music site, and clicked on a banner, and *KABOOM* blackscreen/reset
not even a warning, so current IBrowse did/does same wierd crash as Voyager
do...
Maybe its a MUI thing ? Mui eats/need lotsa stack? or both browsers
uses a MUI class witch seriously need bughunting....Aweb have *never* crashed
like the two mui browsers do...

Unfortunately, the 2.2 version is not known to be the most stable release
ever. We have been testing 2.3 for quite some time and I am happy to say
that if 2.2 was somewhat unstable on my system before, 2.3 is rocksolid now.
I am quite sure you will be happy with the 2.3 release. Sorry it tooks so long
time, but skydiving has been my main interest for the past 1.5 year and that
consumes quite some time...

Stefan

Good to see Mr Burström appear here! And even better to hear about the words

(v2.2 is the most stable yet though, hope the new one doesn't leak as much
memory - My ChipMem is gone and won't come back after some Gfx-heavy browsing
(heve no gfx-card). Although
the new Amiga won't have Chipmen, this have to be corrected )

well sometimes i can go for a week with out IB2.2 crashing.
as long as the JS is turned off, & i only ever turn JS on when i realy need to
when a page forces me to, then i turn it off again when i leave.
im also useing the IB2.2 patch that fixes some of the crashing issues.

I believe the only reason for this release of Voyager is that the previous beta supposedly expired. At any rate, the difference between 3.3.120 and 3.3.122 is almost nothing. Perhaps that's why the version change is tiny.

The first versions of V3.2 did that when I had AGA. Since then I've
done a completely separate installation of the latest betas (and they
are the only ones I use now), got a graphics card and cleaned all the
crap out of my system.

It's really strange why there are so much differences between the systems...
I have not experienced any serious problems with v3.3.120 which I hadn't with other web browsers. Also AmIRC always runs stable.
Sometimes I really think perople are running hacks like the MasterCrashProgram,
an unofficial MUI patch (like this 040 patch...) or VisualPrefs and then
complain because their system is so unstable with MUI...
