The guys from Coyote Flux told us new facts about their latest project J Miner, a software, which uses video streams to create a complete corrected two and 3D model of the surface. They also reveal that they have a G3/G4 Amiga-based supercomputer and this is no joke!"

And Petro's company PowerService/PowerTrading http://www.power-service-gmbh.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=13 has exclusive distributorship of Bill Buck's Thendic products - see http://www.power-trading-gmbh.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=index. Seems that Petro isn't exactly being unbiassed in this matter.
And could it be Bill Buck that is the 'mysterious investor' behind bplan? Well this really is starting to sound impressive. We have:
bplan - formed by bankrupt phase5 directors who took peoples money for a G3/G4 accelerator and then went bust.
DCE - who have been boasting that they will build the pegasos - who have never delivered any new product on time and kept ppc boards sent to them for repairs.
and now Bill Buck - who got Optonica and Almathera (two of the best UK Amiga software developers) to do lots of work on the Viscorp set top box and never paid them, forcing both companies into liquidation.
Sounds like a real dream team doesn't it.

Remember Almathera in turn cheated the author of Photogenics.

Well, I do not know who you are Mr. Anonymous, but for at least the sections of your post as it pertains to me here are some facts...
1. Thendic-France has retained bplan to do some development work. So far, it is working. They are doing something we have contracted them to do. We are paying them. We are happy. I think they are too. We have been very impressed by their engineering skills. They have been honest and straightforward with us.
2. Power Trading GmbH, owned by Petro Tyschtschenko, is exclusively distributing the Thendic and ComCam products in India. This information is posted on his website and ours. We worked very closely with Petro in 1995 and 1996. I think he will vouch for us and what we tried to do.
3. VisCorp had plenty of difficulties in the fall of 1996. Raquel and I lived through them all. Here is a little insight into what you clearly have no first hand experience talking about -- I stayed in touch with Almathera long after I left VisCorp. The Father of the Father & Son team (I can't remember the names) made a business decision at the end and shut his company down. VisCorp had been a hope to them for the future of Amiga. It was not the reason they decided to close the Company and start something new. I know they were partially paid for what they did. I do not know what the final numbers were. As for Optonica, VisCorp did pay them. I honestly do not remember if there was an outstanding balance when I left. They had financial trouble before they were involved with us and we tried to work with them in the beginning to assist them as we could. When VisCorp was unsuccessful everything fell apart as far as Raquel and I were concerned and as far as a VisCorp future with Amiga was concerned. The Chairman controlled the checkbook.
You are welcome to email me directly if you have further questions or statements.
Thanks,
Bill

In reply to Comment 21 (Petro Tyschtschenko):
As old Commodore developer and a former employee at viscorp, I make a point of clearing up certain points. Mister "T" is certainly the person who supported the failure of the negotiations at the time of the repurchase of Amiga by Viscorp for reasons that one can imagine. The two other people were sincere at the beginning but quickly understood that it was more interesting for them to recover the business for their own profit. This will explain the failure of the negotiations at the time of the repurchase of Amiga. It is very easy for me to prove that.
This being said, I wish in Bill and Raquel to succeed in their new company.
PS: send my friendships to Dan.
