Team VFD has just finished updating the UHCI driver (used with Poseidon) and it now support the Iomega USB ZIP 250MB removable drive.
Tested hardware: VIA 83572 UHCI PCI USB card in a G-Rex A4000.
The USB ZIP drive was also tested with the "Win95/98 compatible file system"
[fat95 from Aminet by Torsten Jager] for reading and writing PC formated
ZIP 250 disks.

USB ZIP 250MB removable drive support in Poseidon's USB Stack : Comment 1 of 1 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Ole-Egil Hvitmyren on 21-Apr-2002 08:48 GMT | How come this didn't get any comments?
Every time there is a mention of poseidon it is about a different set of hardware. Like, webcam on the pegasos, zipdrive on a grex etc. One would hope that eventually all devices would work with all cards, eh? If I buy a subway for my A1200, will anything work? Is the subway ready? Will anyone answer me? ;) |
