read more.. notes :
- there's no gui only a console window outputing what's happening
- it's from the latest dev cvs so there's still plenty of debug messages
- in this release of the cvs : finished download dir = shared dir,
in next release shared dir will be taken from the user.txt file
- to be able to download several files at time from audiogalaxy,
you must share at least 30 files (the limitation come from audiogalaxy)

Download it here If you don't have username yet, create your account here

Why "for AmigaOS"? Shouldn't that go without saying?

I'd like to see a small GUI a little like the IBrowse download window.

Because OpenAG exists for a zillion of other platforms. It is opensource, and this is the port for the AmigaOS.

He probably was just making sure and playing it safe so that ppl like yourself wouldn't have to start the "I hate MorphOS so much that I wan't to bann it not only from myself but from other ppl too" thread.
You really have some issues with your amiga hobby dude. There is this great distant thing called "LIFE" I have also heard about. Maybe you should start that as your new hobby? It could make you feel alot relieved and less stressed.

Hey, easy fella'! It was a simple question and had nothing to do with the AmigaOS vs MorphOS flamewar. I think somebody might be a bit jumpy on the trigger...

I'm not itchy with my triggerfinger. Your comment "Why "for AmigaOS"? Shouldn't that go without saying?" Just sounded awful lot alike with the previous threads where you have turned the whole discussion into a war against mos.
If I was wrong about your intentions, then I am sorry.

In reply to Comment 13 (gz):
There was nothing odd about my question as I've never seen any "for AmigaOS" in a news topic on a Amiga news site before. It just seemed to be a bit awkward as "for MorphOS" I can understand but "for AmigaOS"? However, when the anonymous guy told me about that it already existed to several other operating systems besides AmigaOS then it suddenly made sense. Do we really have to make such a big deal over this as well?

In reply to Comment 15 (Samface):
No we don't have to make a big deal out of it, which makes me very happy :)
Like I said, if I misunderstood, then Im sorry.

Hey, what happened, people behaving like civilised human beings?
Anyway, I've seen XX for Amiga or YY for AmigaOS many times when it's
about ports.. games for example.
Now all I wonder is.. what changed from the last release?

In reply to Comment 17 (Johan Rönnblom):
didn't find any doc's about the update, but its OpenAG version 1.1.1 (cvs 1.38)
so if theres an official site of OpenAG, im sure the changes are listed there..
Looks like the missing 1.1.1 file are back, the site owner changed the file listings
with little more info..
