The preparations for the soundcard "Delfina Flipper Edition" have reached the last phase before production. Some technical details had to be changed in order to keep the announced price. The preparations for the soundcard "Delfina Flipper Edition" have reached the last phase before production. Some technical details had to be changed in order to keep the announced price.

Here are the most important changes:
A cable for connection to the A1200 clockport will not be included. A connection kit will be available separately for 10,- EUR. To use the Midi-ports, a separate cable is necessary. It's a standard Midi cable that is also used by PC soundcards, and it will not be included with the Delfina Flipper. It can be ordered separately for 9,- EUR.

Pre-orders for the Delfina are taken by eMail or by fax.

A PCI version of the Delfina would be cool.

At long last, I have been waiting for this card for ages (Still havent pre-ordered it though),
I just love the shape and style of the old Delfina, It should also be good as I listen to a lot of Mpeg`s.
Dont care about Midi ports and like they said its a standard PC part anyway.
Now all we need is a photo :)

I had a delfina lite in my A3000. I was planning on replacing the lite with a Flipper. Well they took too long to get this thing to market. I just sold my A3k and my A1G3 doesn't have zorro slots.
BTW yes the Delfina sounds great playing MP3s at 0% cpu load!

Yes, Delfina is the best ever made soundcard, and it prooves how good the Zorro system
is for soundcards.
DelfMPEG made my life better, as delfinampeg.device I LOVE DELFINA :)

i would get one for my a1200t , decent sound is all that it really lacks , its gotta ppc and bvision. Shame its really out of my price range , for a sound card anyway.

Yes, the price is a bit high. I agree, but you wont feel that you've payed too much,
when you've bought one. Its a choice you have to do on your own!

In reply to Comment 9 (Michal Bergseth):
Personally i don't need super sound for my miggy , the only sound thing i do both pc and amiga is play mp3's and the odd 303 f*ck around ... I wouldn't mind just knocking something diy ( based on a crystal chip maybe ?? ) for the a1200 clock port just to get better quality sound then the puala , don't mind so much about cpu usuage.

Actually Paula is rather good in 14bit mode. And stereo 48khz!

The problem is the CPU usage.

In reply to Comment 11 (José):
Paula rocks , but even when you push her to 14bit 48kbit its not really good enough for listening to music encoded at 192kbit mp3 + . The best sound i require from my miggy would be around AWE32 level , deep , full , no bells sound :D.

If you're using Paula in 14-bit, don't forget to do the calibration
