That's over a year away. We're going to have to be really patient. |

Posted by Anders Kjeldsen on 07-May-2002 06:30 GMT | Great announcement... I have NO idea what this game is about. |

Posted by José on 07-May-2002 09:00 GMT | I hope they release it for Amiga first, so that every mag, video Tv programs etc. show the Amiga version:)They're people to do that. |

Posted by Jon on 07-May-2002 10:06 GMT | Does anyone else find it strange, that Clickboom never publishes the names of the team who ported/created the game?
It might be paranoia but I didn't forget the confusion over the Myst port. |

Posted by amigammc on 07-May-2002 12:38 GMT | It's a miracle they're still developing for Amiga. They deserve all my respect. |

Take it away, Clickboom. Give us a hit!
Garibaldi: No boom?
Sinclair: No boom.
Ivanova: No boom _today_. Boom tomorrow.
Ole-Egil: Clickboom in a year ;)
Looking forward to getting an original game. |

Posted by tinman on 07-May-2002 16:23 GMT | 3D action adventure, wasn't that what Nightlong was? Perhaps they've lisenced the engine and are making an original game out of it (well, it would save them some time). |

Well, with a name like 666, I'd tend to expect devils with pitchforks, surrounded by fire and brimstone.
That, or you're playing the Antichrist or something. :-/
(Neither one of which would be my style of game... :-)

Posted by Matt King on 08-May-2002 07:48 GMT | This reminds me of the site they had up for months about the Napalm sequel...coming soon....whatever happened to that? Don't get me wrong, i'm not one of your Amiga naysayers, I am hugely excited about the developments on both Classic and DE lines (especially Payback on a PDA!!!), but it would be great to get a status report on, what was it called, Euroburn? Or was it just shelved, like Worms Armageddon...? |
|
Posted by Anonymous on 08-May-2002 12:51 GMT | not a good name. change it or i wont send anymore people your way. |
|
Posted by Anonymous on 08-May-2002 12:54 GMT | still give us better games or rather thanks for the games, and the ones till to come. |

Posted by alan buxey on 08-May-2002 13:14 GMT | N2 - Euroburn is still listed as 'coming soon' - its now back on their main

Actually, if they were to create a game with an atmosphere like "bastard" (that's the name! Really!) i'd be swept off my feet

Posted by Ville Sarell on 08-May-2002 17:39 GMT | In reply to Comment 11 (Matt King): Worms Armageddon is actually a Hyperion entertainment project.. But anyway, I want to see that soon (in half a year) as well (it was announced back in 1999!!). Hyperion.. come on, Worms-games always sell well :-) |
|
Posted by James Sellman on 08-May-2002 21:45 GMT | In reply to Comment 16 (Ville Sarell): Unfortunately pretty much all Hyperion games for the Amiga are on the backburner. *NOT* out of any abandonment for the Amiga but because AmigaOS 4.x is so damn much work. :-) Pretty much all work is divided into two fields.... AmigaOS 4.x work, and work for other platforms (mostly Mac) that makes us money so we can keep on developing AmigaOS 4.x (remember that until it goes on sale, it doesn't bring in revenue!)
After AmigaOS 4.x is released and working on a number of platforms, expect to see Hyperion games for the Amiga start to get released again. :-) |

Posted by NihilVor on 08-May-2002 23:11 GMT | In reply to Comment 10 (Nomad of Norad): Playing the anti-christ? Sounds like fun to me! I bet it would be popular too. ;)
It could also be a game of "stop the anti-christ".
Games named after the biblical bad guy are popular--think Diablo, Haddes, etc. |
|
Posted by Nomad of Norad on 09-May-2002 01:14 GMT | In reply to Comment 19 (NihilVor): Speaking of "playing the bad-guy..."
Oddly enough, I read recently about some superhero game where you play the superhero fighting a supervillain... and if you get a good enough score, you get to start the game over, playing the supervillain this time! Hehe!
But, you're right, there probably ARE people who'd want to play the AntiChrist! Yikes! :-)
Course, for all we know, the game could be all about... (drumrollllll) gardening! With 6-6-6 fertilizer! :-D

Posted by Casey R Williams on 09-May-2002 16:54 GMT | In reply to Comment 15 (Amon_Re): >>I actually like the name, the number of the beast! :)
Yeah, though too bad clickBoom confused the number of the beast with the mark of the beast in the pr... (The number is the name of the beast, the mark is a symbol of allegiance to the beast)
>>Actually, if they were to create a game with an atmosphere like "bastard" (that's the name! Really!) i'd be swept off my feet
Have you ever played Sword of Berserk for Dreamcast? That was a nice "dark" game... |
