I belive AMP2 by Amidog is gonna have this covered eventually. If im not mistaken an alpha plugin for rm files is in the latest beta release.

AMP2 can only play the first version of RealVideo media
it's by the way a H.261 codec (or was it H.263) so softcinema might
also be able to play them (but might need a recognition routine for
the .rm files)
