Just in case anybody's still interested, Amiga Inc. seem to have removed all AmigaOne related forums from their developer website. the new forums are labelled "developer" and "DE user". check out amigadev.net/forums. draw your conclusions yourself, but remain a bit sensible. peace...

Pleaze, why you people are so farting nevrotic? No, seriously, somebody tell me?
They probably cleaned up the junk in AOne forum because now that the boards are out, it doesn't make sense to have all that speculation sh!t on the msgboard! |

Now that you posted the solution to the quiz, there's no need for long and useless pedantic discussions on this topic anymore

Posted by Anonymous on 22-May-2002 14:32 GMT | In reply to Comment 1 (americangigolo): Boards are out? Watch out everyone, there's a time traveller in our midst. Ask him who he thinks is president of the United States right now. If he says "George W Bush" then you might be in luck, American presidents only get two terms in office, the A1 could be in your hands before 2007.
The people I feel sorry for are those who paid and are getting this info 2nd hand like Coder on Amiga.org. He talked about taking this week off to play with his board -- can you imagine? This sort of thing is why there are fewer Amigans than ever, being disappointed over and over again is no good for the soul. |

Posted by Frans on 22-May-2002 19:27 GMT | In reply to Comment 6 (Anonymous): Computer City's latest newsletter says that the AmigaOne dev. board that they'll be showing coming weekend was mailed FedEx Express from the UK to Holland today.
So it can't be long for others to start receiving theirs. |

Posted by Doug Taylor on 26-May-2002 01:45 GMT | I noticed some revamping and such. Often pages are taken down, redone or rearranged for common purposes. Also, maybe their making room on their site for some sort of announcements about where dev is on A1. Am I misreading or is there a slight note of panic in your post? |
