Well, seems that HTML links are rejected in unmoderated news. The ttrender.library home page is http://teleinfo.pb.bialystok.pl/~krashan/ttrender/

HTML links are not rejected.
Just wondering, did you use AWeb to post the news item?

How do you know it? Yes, I've used AWeb. It is a bug in the browser?

In reply to Comment 4 (Grzegorz "Krashan" Kraszewski):
I'm not sure. I never got around to fully investigating it. But everybody reporting errors with HTML tags in a submit form on ANN seems to have been using AWeb, so it's fairly easy to point to a culprit. It seems to work fine on pretty much every other browser out there.
(Oh, and I suppose I could have looked at my server logs to see exactly what browser you've been using. But sometimes a wild guess has just the same effect :)

AWeb, as well as iBrowse 1.22, Voyager 2.95 and some version of Netscape 4 IIRC, suppress all HTML tags in a text area form whose contents are sent by a web site..
That is to say, when you type some text with HTML tags and then press "preview", the preview is ok; but the text under the preview has all HTML tags removed ! So you press "ok", you're sending your text without HTML.
The solution for sites that force you into pressing "preview" before "ok" is to first hit "preview" without writing anything, then write your text on the preview page, then press "ok"...
Yu can also use the external editor feature to keep a copy of your HTMLized text before pressing "preview", and then paste it again in the form on the preview page...
Blah.

FONTS:_TrueType_Outlines/Arial.ttf
FONTS:_TrueType_Outlines/ArialBold.ttf
FONTS:_TrueType_Outlines/ArialItalic.ttf
FONTS:_TrueType_Outlines/ArialBoldItalic.ttf
a single archive with these fonts would be nice...

In reply to Comment 7 (catohagen):
Well, you are neither obliged nor limited to these fonts in an example database.
You can copy these from any MS Windows system (typically placed in
"C:\WINDOWS\FONTS" directory), or <A HREF="http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fontpack/default.htm">download</A>
them for free from MicroSoft website.
