Posted by Frederik on 03-Jun-2002 08:20 GMT | HHHmmm,maybe the AmigaColdfire group should look into this system...

Posted by Joe "Floid" Kanowitz on 03-Jun-2002 11:50 GMT | Erm.. So the best the name-search could come up with was a collision with a popular browser's rendering engine and IBM's PowerPC core for the Gamecube? I feel sorry for anyone using a search engine. :}
I wish the project the best of luck; just had to say it. |

Posted by _Lennart Fridén on 05-Jun-2002 06:40 GMT | In reply to Comment 7 (Joe "Floid" Kanowitz): Don't think so. The ColdFire group seemed more interested in making a CF accellerator board IIRC (note that IIRC!)... |

Austex Software and the Gecko Project : Comment 9 of 11 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Rodney McDonel on 05-Jun-2002 09:48 GMT | In reply to Comment 8 (_Lennart Fridén): This isnt the coldfire groop.
But they ColdFire Amiga project aim is to build full A1200 compatible motherboards, with PCI, USB and a 100+Mhz ColdFire CPU..
First they make accelerators to assist them in making a whole board!!
If these are around 500 Australian, ill get me on no questions asked i reckon :) |

Posted by gz on 05-Jun-2002 19:48 GMT | In reply to Comment 10 (Lennart Fridén): hehee... There is ironic contradiction in your phrase there ;)
However I won't go any further in discussing what that contradiction is for obvious reasons. |
