An anonymous poster reports that Gary Peake has been hospitalised, and adds the following copy & paste from amiga-news.de... Gary Peake after heart attack on the way of recovery

Gary suffered a heart attack over the weekend but is now back at home and on the way to a full recovery. He is following doctors orders to get plenty of rest and stay away from email.

He has asked me to thank you for keeping him in your thoughts and for your best wishes. He hopes to be back on email towards the end of the week.

This should hopefully mean the ISPs of Amiga abandonware and/or programming sites get a break from his threatening flames. Amino would be better off without this lamer working for them.

As someone who has had to deal with a heart attack in my family (my father had quadruple bypass heart surgery last year), and as an Amiga supporter before the A1000 came out, FU*K you!!!

however there does seem to be a high rate of certain types of character in the

maybe there is a need to identify and change what seems to be the common
factors of such physical problems.
contridiction and denial are perhaps two I've observed of such people.
Along with what Aram indirectly made reference to, that all those who I have
heard having such problems have also taken negative shots at me.
Makes me wonder about Jay Miner and his work as a doctor, on heart assisting
technology. And what he died of. I never knew him and he never took a shot at me
that I know of.
