Finally!
I feel good :-)
Even happier now that a local retailer will be partaking in the process.
Guess that`s me 100% signed up.

Yep, I feel much more comfortable with this now :) I wish they'd made the offer more clear in the first place though... anyway, it's £35 well spent :)

Can we lose "Join the club" and "I am"
Just the boingg ball with logo would be great. I'd be delighted to own and wear that.
The design is over done and spoilt, cool is about understaement.
There are also unfortunate other meanings. "In the club" can mean pregnant "amiga" is a femle friend.
"Get me pregnant, I'm your female friend"

I agree. Just a boingball would be good. A small one, on the left breast, with "AMiGA" written under it, and maybe a rainbow tick logo on the sleeve. Not a great big boingball.
Maybe Amiga Inc. could announce a competition to design the T-shirt. There are lots of talented artists in the Amiga scene.

If coupon is valid also for the motherboard only, all the linux community, who wants to run linuxes on PPC, can participate.

I like this promotion better. Fortunately we can send a check
through the mail, so I don't need to get a money order.
Well, it looks like I'm going to do it....
I hope we can get more people.......
Still would like to see AmigaOS 4 demo'ed somewhere....

Not really my choice of slogan/logo either, but if that's what's going on the shirt... the less people wear them, the more will be preserved for collectors? :)
I notice the wording is a little buggered- I was about to ask why nobody was making a big deal about "free/$50" OS4.0, but "...a coupon that can be used for a USD 50.00 (EUR 50.00, or GBP 32.50) discount on an AmigaOne, or OS 4.0..." means $50 *off* the ~$100(?) retail for OS4, doesn't it?
Retail sales would be an interesting idea, but I hope they'll hold off until there's a skin out with the relative 'shiny object' factor of Win95/MacOS 9. (Applications wouldn't hurt, either.) Anyone else notice that the 'fixed' widgets accidentally ruined the 'golden rectangle' of the original compressed ones?

At first I was very sceptical, but now I think that I'll go for it...
I've sat waiting for a new machine for 8 1/2 years now, so I guess signing my £32.50 sway is no bad thing.
Mind you A Inc can keep the T-Shirt, although I retain a certain amount of loyalty and affection for the platform, the shirt is a bit OTT.

Hmmm.. Atari isnt a company and hasn't been for a long long time. Its just a name thats been used by software houses as a brand to stick on their game boxes then sold on. Hasbro had it for a while, now I believe its Infogrames (well known in the industry for their knack of buying up prominent software developers and ruining them... a la Ocean). So to say that Atari have products is rather inaccurate - "Infogrames have products with the Atari logo on the box" is about right.

Obviously you didn't read the update. McEwan said quite clearly
that, "You Are Wrong...". And he actually writes wrong in bold
and underlines it (not to mention that he starts it with a
capital letter). This means that you are three times wrong, so
there.
We don't want you as part of our club anyway. It's for cool

May have to get one of these coupons now if its valid against os 4 for current ppc's ( even if it only does run for a short time :P ) .
Dunno if i'll wear the tshirt tho , not because i don't like amiga t shirts but because i've always found computer sorta tshirts look cool on the website , but then you think about it and you know all your mates are going to take the piss for a few months after so you think again about ordering that cool wireframe BSD deamon shirt ;P. Maybe if they made it imformative but not computerish ?
I don't know how that would work tho :/

He doesn't need an amiga t shirt cuz he's got the i hate everything special that says :
"
1 : I hate PPC
2 : I diehardly support a PPC motherboard and OS ( !oh the madness)
3 : I hate Intel cuz slashdot and AMD told me so !
4 : I Love linux ( no insult to linux users ( i sometimes use it ) , but i think you get the people i mean (aka they install redhat and feel they have hurt microsoft and bill gates really badly hah)) because i fit in with all the other people that can't get laid.
5 : I Love to run into a community that my only link to is owning a now dusty 10 year old machine with no upgrades / software and shouting my head off why everyone is wrong and why nasty amiga inc has wronged us ( like he'd know )
6: I hang around with all my other tag along hate everything friends on IRC channels and bitch everything cool or nice that comes the communitys way."
Trust me , its a huge tshirt with alsorts of crappy penguins and random source code on ;).

The wireframe daemon shirt actually comes in handy when you have to cablemonkey around an office and look like you belong there. Of course, my "professional" (well, it'd help if I were getting *paid* for it) wardrobe leaves me looking like something out of "Hackers" or those Worldcom ads, but people seem to expect that sort of thing.
The "I am Amiga!" design seems more like the sort of kipple given out at a trade show, but that's what it is, after all...

How will giving money to a#$ inc help os4? All pretense of this being a preorder scheme for a1/os4 ("to see how many we have to build" ) have been dropped.
It's an 'exclusive' club for the <snip!>

Cheesegrate, you've made your decision. My comment was directed at people interested in seeing the Amiga platform succeed that are wavering in their decsion. Momentum is gaining, the developer list is quite positive. People keep thinking it's going to fail or not be delivered and that's not what history is going to record.
Amiga Inc. extending the offer to people purchasing OS 4.0 for the classic hardware would be the first answer to how this "exclusive club" helps OS 4.0. I don't understand the negativity from some people. Good, positive things are happening. I've got hardware that's real...and not vapour and the momentum keeps on building. I can understand why some people have a hard time believing that this time it's for real, because I have a hard time believing my AmigaOne sitting next to me is real.

Sorry linux + uae does not an amiga one make?
In fact in that respects then amithlon is amiga two right? Cause it can run on more modern hardware?

And your magic mirror on the wall told you OS4 doesn't run on it? Funny 'cause I heard Hyperion is testing OS4 on the board right now, and been doing that for a while. And since I heard that from a developer who actually owns an AmigaOne I rather believe him than you.

I must have overestimated you. IT SHOWS developers that the Amiga market is still viable. It's not just estimates, but hard numbers showing how many people do spend money over their system. If that's not important, I don't know what it is. Joining the club is a way to say "we exist"
