Amiga.Org : For anyone interested in using OpenGL to do some 3D coding on the AmigaDE, TinyGL provides a good subset of the GL, including part of the GLUT api for easier coding.The library can be downloaded from amigadev.net:

IIRC, Payback for DE uses an internal beta of Ami3D, which will also be quite similar to (if not directly compatible with) opengl.

No, James Daniels has worked very hard to eliminate this rumour. The DE version of Payback uses his own software 3D routines.

|If Amiga really wants to take off, it should provide its SDK for free or for a nominal fee for the CD. They would then have the backing of many more programmers. Soon they would also have a larger software base. Such restrictive licensing is what keeps developers for the PlayStation and Nintendo to a few larger software houses.|
