According to "moomoo" over at amiga.org forums, the photos are showing MOSBench in action, but I couldn't verify it anywhere.

Well, that's really a workbench look alike IF that is their own desktop which I highly doubt.
So what do these pictures show/prove anyway?

This looks like the Amiga Workbench, the "MOSBench" uses MUI and we should be
able to see the MUI gadgets, at least.
It proves nothing, it's just another presentation.
BTW, note the skins in Intuition, it doesn't use vprefs or birdy:)

Hmm...Pegasos seems to use ArticiaS too! I haven't seen that kind of picture before! I think it's good news...It's easier to port OS to it and vice versa! :)

It proves a lot to me:
1. It reinforces a sense of disbelief I get every time I see the tremendous amount of time and effort that two separate camps have gone through to revamp a dated operating system when *combined* the two could have used their resources more appropriately. In the end we have two separate paths that desperately need to meet somewhere in the middle. At the moment we don't really even have competition because the solutions are basically incompatible.
2. bPlan/Thendic have substantiated to the general public that they have a working product. Eyetech needs to follow suit, preferably with some screenshots that are legible.

The blue one.. nah.. you dont wanna know.
But it might be safe to remove all the guns, sharp objects
and tapes of operah-show from the house first.

It has been a busy weekend. The Pegasos is a great piece of hardware. MorphOS is a very good operating system (running natively on a PPC). The bplan BIOS is an incredible accomplishment!
Gerald Carda and some of the Thendic-France team were in Bordeaux this weekend. If you were not there, talk to somebody who was. Everyone who was there is now a believer in the Pegasos.
We will continue to show up when it is least expected!
Bonsoir...guten Abend...buona sera...buenas noches...
Bill
P.S. Actually, I might be here for a while...email me tonight or post a message. BUT, if you want to stay "anonymous" and are a coward or a flabby old crackpot just stay away from this thread...:)
Thanks,
Bill

We will post some screen shots later this week.
It seems fitting to point out the difference between a GUI and a real OS. We will do our best to insure all concerned understand the difference!!!
Best regards,
Bill

and this didnt look like MUI :) It did look
very much like AOS3.5 or similar.

We will post some screen shots later this week.

Nice! Looking forward to it.

Hi,
Look more carefully (Yes I know the pictures are not very good, i'm sorry) :)
I was at the show (the pictures are from me), and I can certify that the MorphOS Desktop is MUI based!!! Believe me!
There is some cool features mike "help bubble" if you stay on an icon...etc But sorry I didn't take everything interesting cause I discussed a lot with other Amiga fans there...etc :)
Anyway I'm sure we'll see more screenshots/pictures soon :)

still works!
And, as long as we are talking about blue pills...
Versalia and KDH should take one! As long as they are squabbling we will not deal with either of one of them. We even have a credit balance with Guido and we may NEVER shop there again. This is a new deal and there are people like "Christian" who are ready to start a "new" company.
Come on all you BS/FUD-mongers...when I am here where are you?!
I guess I really hate cowards.
It is a new computer and a real Matrix to the future!

It looks like you had a good gathering over there in France. It is nice to look at these pictures. A press release explaining recent developments would be nice! I understand that one of those pictures does feature the MorphOS desktop, but I can't tell myself. Could be...
Here is a link of something else supposed to be the MorphOS desktop, but everyone is being tightlipped about it all:
http://adsl-100-156.kymp.net/~p/pics/mos_desktop_teaser.png
Does the name of the new MorphOS desktop begin with "Lu?"
Amazing that you can keep this secret for so long. Good operational security, I suppose! It looks like there is a bunch of stuff running on the Pegasos. It looks like it has become very stable? Cheers to bPlan for this accomplishment. You have to be real go-getters to get new hardware produced!
