With the aid of Amiga SDL there are now WarpOS and MorphOS versions of
the Atari 2600 emulator Stella. You can download both versions and
changes to the official sourcecode at
Amig@club.

It's nice to see that amiga developers try to keep up with powerful up to date pieces of software. I really hope we will get a ColecoVision Emulator soon to show the whole world how powerful our PEGASOSes are.

Posted by m0ns00n on 21-Jul-2002 20:18 GMT | In reply to Comment 5 (Paul Hill): The point is not that we have an emulator, the point is that SDL is ported, which opens up a whole world of ports to AmigaOS/MorphOS. Hopefully, AROS will also port SDL. Alot of apps and games use this interface.
Please kids, stop being so fanatic about operating systems! Try out KDE 3 on Gentoo linus :-D You'll be amazed of how great some free systems are after installing them properly. I've been on linux for some years now, and I am amazed of how it has developed. Amiga has a LONG way to go. SO! Just await the operating systems that are flocking for release through to 2003/4, and you'll suddenly have a lot more options than Windows. |

The thing is if they had all held their nerve, there would have been no depression. But I digress. |

Posted by JrPacman on 22-Jul-2002 13:59 GMT | There is now a small update with the following changes:
- Swapped joysticks, now you no longer need to swap your mouse to use a joystick/pad.
- Some small changes in the joystick code, should work better now.
- the extra buttons on a CD³² joypad now do some stuff.
- F10 is now used to pause/unpause emulation |
